Is your spice rack woefully overcrowded — and yet — still not “perfectly” complete enough?

Spice maker McCormick is hoping to help ease this conundrum that’s likely playing out in kitchens nationwide with its new offerings.

The brand just released four new spice blends from its Signature Seasoning line that it said are designed to make cooking easier without sacrificing flavor, and help streamline the spice rack.

Each all-in-one blend offering, for example, already combines multiple seasonings, herbs and spices all mixed together, thereby removing the need to use separate and multiple spices to get the specific seasoning blend.

The new products include:

● McCormick Garlic and Olive Oil Seasoning Blend: A blend of garlic, salt, oregano, thyme, rosemary, and extra virgin olive oil, ideal for seasoning pastas, salads, shrimp, roasted proteins, potatoes, and vegetables.

● McCormick Chili Garlic Seasoning: A fusion of chili garlic seasoning and asian-inspired flavor, this blend is made with a mix of garlic, paprika, and chili pepper, which adds a bold, savory garlic flavor with lingering chili heat and an umami-rich finish.

● McCormick Caramelized Onion Seasoning: This blend includes a mix of toasted onion, salt, and demerara sugar, which adds savory-meets-sweet flavor to roasted proteins, grilled veggies, pastas, burgers, and flatbreads.

● McCormick Chimichurri Flavored Seasoning: This seasoning includes a blend of parsley, oregano, jalapeño pepper, and garlic. One idea is to use it to make a vinaigrette by stirring the seasoning into red wine vinegar and oil.

The new blends (priced at $4.49 each) are available in grocery stores nationwide in mid April, and online beginning April 10.

Butterbeer fans, rejoice! McCormick, the maker of spices and seasonings, has bottled the flavor of the iconic beverage from the “Harry Potter” series into two new limited-edition products that just hit stores.

The company unveiled a Harry Potter-themed Butterbeer finishing sugar (priced at $3.99) to sprinkle onto baked goods such as cookies and brownies. The other product is Harry Potter Butterbeer Flavor ($14.99), which can be added to pancakes, cupcakes, ice cream floats, and even hot chocolate.

McCormick said both products, which were created to mark the 25^th anniversary of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” are available at Walmart and Amazon , among other grocery retailers nationwide.

Heinz has figured out how to clean up the messy pairing of hot crispy fries with slippery, hard-to-open ketchup packets. Just add a pull-out pocket to the cardboard fry box for the condiment.

Heinz on Tuesday unveiled the Heinz Dipper, a redesigned fries container with a built-in ketchup compartment engineered for dipping on-the-go. The goal of the new design is to eliminate those “oops” moments — a ketchup packet (or Mayo if that’s your preference) refusing to open, or worse, exploding upon opening.

“As more eating occasions happen away from home in drive-thrus and on-the-go moments, the Heinz Dipper is a fun and relevant way to innovate to meet fans where they are and strengthen our role in their everyday lives,” Nina Patel, vice president, Global Heinz Brand, with Kraft Heinz Company, said in a statement.

The company said its patent-pending Heinz Dipper containers are rolling out at select restaurants and sports stadiums this week (while supplies last), and will also debut globally across eleven countries, including in multiple US cities (locations include Fat Sal’s in LA, Devil Dawgs in Chicago and Lucky’s Hot Chicken in Dallas), and in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Philippines, China and Kuwait.

Dove and Crumbl are back with round two of their collaboration that’s likely to go viral, again.

Last December, the two brands in a surprise twist, joined forces to launch Dove X Crumbl body care products such as body washes, scrubs, deodorants and hand washes in popular Crumbl cookie flavors such as Confetti Cake, Lemon Glaze and Strawberry Crumb Cake, exclusively at Walmart. .

According to Dove, the effort tripled Dove’s sales rate and led to more than 5,000 social videos.

Building on this success, the two brands on Wednesday unveiled a followup collab that expands the Dove X Crumbl with a new scent drop.

Here come Tres Leches-inspired body care products, infused with scents of vanilla cake with milky layers, whipped cream, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Also new to the collection are Dove X Crumbl beauty bar soaps in Strawberry Crumb Cake and Confetti Cake scents. The collection is available on Walmart.com beginning Dec. 10 and will roll into Walmart stores nationwide on Dec. 28.

“Dove x Crumbl became a cultural obsession last year,” said Mele Melero, chief growth officer with Dove personal care and Dove Masterbrand, North America. “It allowed Dove to grow our audience, increasing Gen Z purchase intent and bringing new buyers into a beloved and iconic brand. So, this year, we’re thrilled to serve up seconds with fresh new formats and scents, but with the same superior care you know and love from Dove.”

Will there be other surprises coming? A hint: Wait until February.

It’s called “Leftover Gravy.” Its mission is to breathe back flavor and delight into day-after-Thanksgiving leftovers. Its inspiration: the “Moist Maker” sandwich from our favorite 90s sitcom “Friends.”

Heinz, on Tuesday, unveiled a holiday offering that for the first time transforms gravy into a condiment.

The company said the idea to bottle “Leftover Gravy” came from a “Friends” episode that featured the iconic Moist Maker sandwich. It’s made with leftover turkey, stuffing, leftover gravy, cranberry sauce, mayo (optional), lettuce (optional) and three slices of white sandwich bread (with one of the slices thoroughly soaked in gravy and placed as a middle layer).

“A social media favorite among millennial sitcom-lovers, the Moist Maker epitomized an obsession with holiday food crafted with care and detail. Now, Heinz is celebrating the fans who share an irrational love of the nostalgic sandwich by providing the key to a delicious day-after sandwich,” Jamie Mack, associate director of brand communications for Heinz US, said in a statement.

If you really want it, Heinz said shoppers first have to order a 12-ounce jar of the brand’s Homestyle Turkey Gravy (priced at $1.88) exclusively on Walmart.com. Included with the purchase, while supplies last, is a Heinz Leftover Gravy kit, which comes with a Leftover Gravy squeezable bottle and recipe card to make the “Ultimate Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich.”

Why should their humans have all the fun with their seasonal lattes? One pet foods brand this year has created a version of the fall favorite beverage, pumpkin spice latte, for pooches.

San Diego-based The Honest Kitchen has launched a limited-edition festive pumpkin spice latte for dogs that’s made with goat’s milk, pumpkin, honey, cinnamon and ginger as a “healthy way for pups to savor the spirit of the season and curl up with a latte of their own.”

The company said the product is “100% human grade” and free from fillers and artificial additives and can be served as a liquid treat on its own, or poured over or mixed into pets’ meals.

“Pets are part of the family, and we believe they should be included in the moments that make each season special,” Miki Dosen, chief marketing officer with The Honest Kitchen, said in a statement. “Humans look forward to their first pumpkin spice latte every fall – and this launch is our way of letting dogs in on that cherished ritual, made with the same care and quality we expect for ourselves.”

The Honest Kitchen’s Pumpkin Spice Latte (priced at $13) is available online, at PetSmart locations nationwide and at a variety of neighborhood pet stores.

Sweethearts, the iconic Valentine’s Day tiny colorful heart-shaped candies that bear cute messages such as “Be Mine,” “Love You,” “XOXO” and “First Kiss,” is doing something spooky — and brilliant — for Halloween this year.

The candy brand is erasing those messages, draining the colors from its candy hearts, and coming out with all-white, blank heart candies, targeted specifically for “ghosters.”

"Sweethearts aren't just for Valentine's Day anymore," Evan Brock, vice president of marketing for Spangler Candy Company, the maker of Sweethearts, said in a statement on Tuesday. "With Ghosted Sweethearts, we're putting a stake in the heart of Halloween season and poking fun at ghosting, a spooky phenomenon of modern dating."

“Ghosting” is a colloquial term for behavior that involves an abrupt end of any communication with another person and also avoiding any contact with them. It’s generally considered to be quite rude.

So, as sweet revenge, the candymaker has created special-edition “Ghosted Sweethearts” candy boxes to send directly to the “ghoster.”

The company will even step in to help.

The limited-edition custom candies (priced at $8 a box ) are available while supplies last.

Not only is the charm bracelet (and necklace) trend still going strong, it’s becoming more creative, and colorful, as everyday brands look to get in on the Charmcore action.

Just in time for back-to-school shopping, popular bracelets brand Little Words Project, known for its bead bracelets that spell out positive and uplifting words, unveiled a collaboration with Crayola that’s inspired by vintage crayon colors.

The collection includes bracelets with the words “Teacher” and “Just Dandy” and a collection of tiny crayon charms in throwback Crayola colors, including “Blizzard Blue,” “Magic Mint” and “Dandelion.”

Something’s been missing for a long time from the tiny toy cars aisle. Little Bugattis? Those are there. Tiny Ford Broncos, or monster trucks that look like a rhinoceros? Check. Bentleys? Teslas? No problem finding those, either.

But try scoring that exotic Italian supercar from Maranello, Italy. We’re talking about a Ferrari, more specifically, a Hot Wheels version of it.

Hot Wheels, a division of toymaker Mattel and a leading brand of toy cars, hasn’t made any Ferrari toy cars in about a decade.

Here’s why.

Selling toy versions of real cars requires the agreement of the actual car company. For the past 10 years, Hot Wheels hasn’t had the required agreements with the famous Italian sports car company to be able to produce miniature toy versions of its cars.

That’s all in the past. Mattel announced in January that it had sorted out the paperwork and will be bringing back Ferrari to its Hot Wheels lineup with a big roll-out of new models.

And now Hot Wheels has revealed its first new Ferraris.

The new fleet of miniature Ferraris coming to stores and online in the coming months include the popular 1:64-scale pocket-sized cars that sell for about $1.25, bigger Hot Wheels Ferraris for $6.50 each, and other fancier, and much more expensive models.

Among the smallest Ferraris will be classics like the 1989 F40 Competizione, the 1971 365 GTB4 Competizione and a tiny SF90 Stradale, a model of Ferrari’s new hybrid sports car.

The $6.50 Ferraris include the 1990s-era Ferrari F50 (available in November), a model of the 2010’s Ferrari LaFerrari (Ferrari’s first hybrid car) available in September, and a model of the 499P Modificata, a Ferrari modeled after a car that won the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hour race. That car will hit stores in July.

Here’s another sizzling Ferrari deal that’s available in October: For $17, fans can scoop up the world’s most valuable Ferrari – a 250 GTO – that comes with a Fiat car transporter truck. A real 1962 Ferrari GTO sold, believe it or not, sold for $51.7 million in 2023.

Among the pricier toy car options is a “Hot Wheels for Ferrari Heritage Set” (priced at $100) which comes with two larger-scale cars. One is a nicer version of the Ferrari 499P Modificata, based on the car that won the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hour race.

The other will be an up-sized recreation of the first Hot Wheels Ferrari toy, a 312P race car, that originally debuted in 1970.

The boxed pair of Ferrari models is available to order online from Mattel Creations.

Be careful about uttering the words “Trader Joe’s” and “tote bags” together, and aloud. That combination has a history of triggering a euphoric viral frenzy.

Back in March, Trader Joe’s rolled out its mini canvas logo tote bags in a variety of colors. The bags quickly sold out in Trader Joe’s stores, but popped up again online where people were quickly reselling them for hundred of dollars.

So the popular low-priced food store chain, with a cult-like fanbase, restocked the mini canvas tote bags a few months later in September. Once again, people went nuts over them.

Kit Kat is paying homage to Santa this year in a big way.

The iconic candy brand for the first time has created a new shape for the holidays that’s nothing like its slim chocolate-coated rectangular wafer bars.

The festive Kit Kat, revealed on Monday, is shaped like Santa Claus. Santa is sitting and on the soles of his chocolate boots are imprinted the words “Kit Kat.”

“Our first-ever shape, Kit Kat Santas, builds on the Kit Kat brand's product portfolio to offer a new way to bring fun to consumers," Scott Sorensen, associate manager for the Kit Kat brand, said in a statement.

The Santa-shaped Kit Kat, he said, is crispier than the traditional Kit Kat bar, and just might become “a newfound annual ritual.”

Kit Kat Santas are available for a limited time in stores nationwide in 8.85 ounce snack size bags.
