Could this be -*gasp* - the Christmas of “Skibidi Toilet?”
Ask any kid 12 and older and you’ll get either a full thesis or at least some kind of garbled explanation about this strangely-named concept called “Skibidi Toilet.”
It’s popular. Very, very popular.
The animated YouTube series created by Alexey Gerasimov about a fictional war between human-headed toilets and humanoid characters with electronic devices such as TVs, cameras and speakers for heads has raked up over 60 billion views since its debut in early 2023.
It’s a bonafide viral sensation, especially with Gen Alpha. So much so that Kim Kardashian’s 11-year-old daughter recently gifted her a “Skibidi Toilet” diamond necklace for her birthday.
And, of course, there were plenty of “Skibidi Toilets” walking around on Halloween this year.
As expected, toymakers looking to be inspired by the biggest internet craze of the moment, latched on to “Skibidi Toilet.”
Parents, get ready. “Skibidi Toilet” toys have popped up in the toy aisle, just in time for year-end holiday gift-buying rush.
Toymaker Bonkers Toys teamed up with Adam Goodman, founder of Invisible Narratives and rights holder of the “Skibidi Toilet” IP, to debut a “Skibidi Toilet” toy line.
It includes a giant mystery surprise toilet, a spring-loaded toilet with a telescoping pop-up head with flushing sounds. Hidden inside the tank are collectible mystery surprises, including mini figures and decorative stickers.
The mystery plush, mystery figure collector series and mystery “Skibidi Toilet” figures are all surprise packs, hiding a “Skibidi Toilet” toy character inside.
Bonkers Toys “Skibidi Toilet” line is available at Walmart, Target and Amazon.
