Expect some craziness in the candy aisle in 2025.
Mars Inc., the maker of some of the most iconic candy brands in the world, just gave a sneak peek into new sweet treats that will pop up in stores soon. Speaking of popping up, look out for the brand new “Skittles Pop’d.”
It’s a freeze dried version of the chewy lentil-shaped classic candy, but with a crispy and crunchy texture. Flavors include the expected strawberry, lemon, lime, orange and grape and sour options in lemonade, blue raspberry, watermelon and cherry.
That’s not all, folks.
The newest innovation from the ever-expandingM&M's offerings is Peanut Butter & Jelly. Mars said it’s the the first new flavor innovation in M&M’s since 2022. Each chocolate M&M’s is filled with a berry flavored bite-sized treat, layered with a smooth peanut butter center.
“Peanut butter M&M's have always been a popular flavor with our fans, so we're excited to double down on their excitement - with a twist," Gabrielle Wesley, chief marketing officer with Mars Wrigley North America, said in a statement. PB&J M&M’s hit stores and online early next month.
