Well played, Target. The retailer has locked in exclusive Taylor Swift merchandise that will be available for sale on Black Friday, or Nov. 29, in all of its stores nationwide.
Swift, who is on the final leg of her record-breaking âErasâ tour, announced the Target news on her Instagram account on Oct. 15.
âWe'll be kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to comprehend. This tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way,â Swift wrote.
She revealed âThe Official Eras Tour Book,â which she said is filled with personal reflections and never-before-seen behind the scenes photos. If that isnât enough for Swifties to absorb, she also revealed that âThe Tortured Poets Department: The Anthologyâ would be available on vinyl and CD âfor the first time everâ only at Target.
Target, in a press release, said both the 256-page book containing 500 images (priced at $39.99) and the 35-track album vinyl ($59.99) and CD ($17.99) would also be available for purchase online a day later, on Nov. 30.
Swift and Target have had a long-standing partnership going back several years. Swift famously has showed up at a Target store after the release of a new album to meet fans and to buy the album for herself.
