You and your furbaby can now flaunt matchy-matchy Crocs
Why stop with humans? Crocs is expanding the market for its popular foam clogs to the four-legged species.
The footwear brand on Wednesday announced Pet Crocs, a version of its clogs adapted for dogs.
Just as it did for its limited launch of Crocs cowboy boots last year in October, the brand again credited its fanbase for the idea behind Pet Crocs, which will be available online and for a limited time in Crocs stores beginning Oct. 23.
Pet Crocs’ launch coincides with “Croctober,” or the month of October, when Crocs typically does something unusual with the shoe that was inspired by fans.
For the dog-version of Crocs (priced at $50 for two pairs), the company partnered with Bark, a subscription service for pet products and services, to design the dog shoe.
The Crocs dog booties come in two color patterns — Green Slime and Pink Dragon Fruit — and each version glows in the dark. Plus, each pet style has a matching version of it for the pet parent (priced at $65). Crocs also created a collection of dog-themed Jibbitz charms for its latest launch.
For anyone interested in actually dressing up as a Crocs clog for Halloween, the brand is also selling a new Crocs Costume (priced at $50). It’s a life-sized replica of a classic Crocs clog (both a left and a right-foot option) and it features Jibbitz charms.
