James Bond’s favorite sunglasses spotted in Soho

High-end French heritage brand Vuarnet opened its newest boutique in NYC’s Soho neighborhood just in time for the holiday shopping season.

To those who grew up in the 1980s, Vuarnet might be a familiar pop culture reference. The brand is named after French ski champion Jean Vuarnet

Vuarnet was an official sponsor of the 1984 Los Angeles summer Olympics that surfaced the catchy tagline, “It’s a Vuarnet day today” to signal a bright, sunny day.

Over the years, sports and outdoor enthusiasts, as well as movie celebrities, such as actor Daniel Craig, have gravitated to the brand

For his final James Bond role, Craig wore two classic Vuarnet sunglasses in the movie No Time to Die.
